Ag and I are training for another Camino that starts on August 1st in Porto, Portugal. I am walking three miles a day with a light pack. Ag tries to walk three miles with a pack and two miles later in the day without a pack.
The Camino Portuguese can be walked from Lisbon to Santiago in about 4 or 5 weeks. That can include a walk to Fatima. We are starting in Porto and it will take us about 15 days. There are several alternative ways: Coastal, which will take us close to the Atlantic; the Senda Litoral, which is right on the beach; and, interior, which is more inland. There is a Spiritual Variant that begins at Poio to Vilanova de Arousa to Padron.
We are walking in August when europeans holiday and accommodations may be hard to book. We will see.
